Easter Weekend

This past weekend was fantastic! The only thing I wish I had of done differently was get a picture of Collin and I together on Easter Sunday in our pretty clothes. But oh well. I liked my outfit a lot so I'll definitely be wearing it again. =) Church was pretty spectacular on Sunday. There's nothing quite like Easter to be filled with the Holy Spirit! And getting to celebrate TWICE (Son Rise service and regular 9:30 service) was great! And we even had a very, very moving Good Friday service in which we had people in character telling stories about what it was like on the day of Jesus' death. So powerful. I was honored to have been a character and to carry the Christ candle into and out of the Sanctuary. It really, really touched me. Anyway, I want to share with you some pictures of mine from over the weekend!

Driving home from work this day it really hit me how spring was here because I noticed all the green on the trees illuminated by the brilliant sun!

Then that same day we had a beautiful sunset!

Saturday my aunt treated my sister, cousin and I to manicures and pedicures for Easter. Then afterwards we got some delicious Mexican food for lunch!

Saturday evening we went to our friends the Barton's house for a ping pong tournament and were met in the driveway by this very fun greeting by the twins.

We celebrated Donna's mom's birthday with this delicious Bruster's ice cream cake! Yummy!

We defintely had a good weekend. And Sunday after church we spent the afternoon eating yummy food and spending time with my extended family. Then in the evening we played frisbee golf with Justin and Molly and then went home and played Quelf with Collin's parents. So much fun! I think they really enjoyed the game and laughed lots like us. I think the highlight of the evening was Collin's dad having to belly dance but yet his Roolz card prohibited from having any arms so he looked soooo silly! Oh my gosh we laughed SO hard. Good, good times. =D

How was your Easter? I hope it was as fun and meaningful as ours was! I'm still so blown away by the love God has for me. And every year Easter just reminds me ten fold of the great love of the Father. Amazing!!
