Hello there! Welcome to my little blog. I'm Cindy and my husband is Collin. We got married April 24, 2010 and are enjoying every bit of being married! Don't get me wrong, it has its challenges but even those tough times are worth it. It just brings us closer together.We are two very goofy and fun people. It works out nicely because we get along so well! Some of our favorite things to do together are watch movies, play frisbee golf, go on walks, cook, make music and travel. We both really enjoy traveling and so far since we've been together we've been to the Bahamas on a cruise, Florida a few times, VA Beach, different parts of PA, Front Royal, VA and our absolute favorite, Carteret County, NC. We can't wait to explore many more places together!
Collin and I are both pretty musical. Collin plays the guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and a little bit of piano. I've been playing the piano for 16 years and I also play percussion. Not drum set or snare, mind you, but auxiliary percussion, especially the mallet percussion instruments like marimba, xylophone or glockenspiel. I also sing and was a music major specializing in Voice at Messiah College. Collin and I are both on the worship team at our church where I play keyboard and sing and Collin plays electric guitar. We love it and one day hope to lead worship together.
Since I started this blog in December of 2010, I've discovered how amazing photography is. I've always enjoyed taking pictures but in the past couple years I've really gotten into it. I mostly enjoy taking pictures of nature, my kitty cats and "still life" but every once in a while I'll snap shots of people. However, I would much rather enjoy being with people than focusing on taking pictures of what's going on. Though having an iPhone makes it a lot easier since it's always with me and the camera is easy to access! I also have a Nikon 1 that I love! It takes great pictures and it's a step up from my point and shoot I'd been using. It's not quite a full DSLR but for now it suits my needs!
We don't have any children but we do have two fur-babies whom we love lots and lots! Stank is our oldest and he's been Collin's cat for many years. I am fortunate that Stank took to me when Collin and I got together and now I think he loves me more than Collin! He's my buddy-boy and SUCH a snuggler and I love him very much! Our newest baby is Seabass and he is a bundle of fun. Seabass is full of energy and always wanting to play. But he is a love and I'm so glad that he is a part of our lives now. He might be a little booger but I love him!
