The farm we visited, in addition to the corn maze, grows apple trees and grape vines! They contribute the grapes to the local winery!
The farm had three peacocks! Two females and one brilliantly colored male!
I love that I caught the cow with its tongue out!
This baby goat was SO cute!
Mine and Collin's pumpkins. Mine is on the left and his on the right.
I can't wait to share with you guys the rest of my fun autumn pictures! I still have the ones I took while at Messiah's Homecoming and the ones from our fun day with Collin's family!
This past weekend was pretty fun! Saturday was my church's women's day retreat. It was such a great day with 27 other wonderful women! The theme was words and it was all focused on the words we say and how they affect us and those we speak words to. Words are so, so powerful and it is important to think about what you're planning to say before you speak it. Your words can help and harm people. It's imperative that people be intentional about the words they speak.
Ending Daylight Savings time threw a wrench in my schedule though, I must say. We went to bed at like 11 on Saturday night which when we woke up on Sunday would have felt like 10. However, I woke up on Sunday morning at 7 when I didn't need to be up until 7:45 and I just couldn't fall back asleep. My body felt like it was 8am and it was ready to be awake. So then last night I started falling asleep on the couch at like 8:30 and by 9 I just gave up and went to bed! I was just way too tired! Hopefully my body will adjust really soon!
So how was your weekend sweet friends? I hope you had fun!
Cindy
